PGA Tour of Australasia Membership

Anthony competed in the Final Stage of PGA Tour of Australasia Qualifying School in Valdosta, GA. Against a strong field, he finished T16, which officially granted him Full Tournament Membership for the 2025–2026 season. While this status is a significant step forward, it does not provide full event exemptions. That means Anthony will need to secure special invitations or qualify through regular entry procedures to compete in specific tournaments. Why This is a Big Deal • Official Tour Status: Anthony is now recognized as a full tournament member on a major professional golf tour, opening the door to compete in elite events across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. • Career Growth: This achievement positions Anthony for greater exposure, higher competition levels, and opportunities to climb the Order of Merit rankings. • Momentum from 2025 Season: This year, Anthony made his first cut on the GPro Tour at Woodlake, finished T12 at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship on the AllProTour, and earned a spot in the John Deere Classic Monday qualifier. Looking Ahead Anthony’s next goal is to travel and compete in Australasia events this November and throughout the season.

A Month of Breakthroughs

June was a month to remember marked by growth, breakthroughs, and God’s undeniable favor. Anthony made his first professional cut on the GPro Tour at Woodlake Open, showcasing his perseverance and continued development at the pro level. He then followed that up with a strong debut on the All ProTour at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship in Metamora, IL, where he finished T12 at -17, shooting under par each round in a competitive field. Adding to the momentum, during the first round of the All ProTour event, Anthony competed in the PGA John Deere Classic pre-qualifier and finished 9th at -4, securing his spot in the Monday qualifier. These performances were powerful reminders of what’s possible when hard work meets unwavering faith. “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” – Isaiah 41:13

Growing through the grind:

The past stretch of tournaments has been a true test and learning experience for Anthony. He’s had events where he’s played some of his best golf but still came up just short of the cut, and others where his game wasn’t where he wanted it to be. While missing cuts is tough, Anthony remains grounded and focused on the bigger picture. He’s staying consistent in his practice, committed to the work, and patient with the process. At this level, the margins are razor thin—and it’s in these moments that character and perseverance are built. Anthony is learning to embrace the journey, trusting that growth comes not just in the victories, but also in the challenges. Through it all, his faith remains his foundation. He’s trusting in God’s timing and provision, believing that every step—no matter how difficult—is part of a greater plan. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9 (NIV) Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support. Anthony is more determined than ever and is excited for what’s ahead.

Steady Progress on the GPro Tour

Anthony is still chasing is first made cut on the GPro Tour, and his game is trending in the right direction. At the St. Augustine Open, he opened with a strong round of 70 (-2), putting him in 21st place heading into second round. Unfortunately, one tough hole kept him from advancing to the final round. Despite the setback, Anthony's game is solid-just a couple of course management decisions off the tee held him back. He's learning, improving, and gaining valuable experience at every event.

Message from Anthony’s Mom

Discussing financial support can be challenging, but it is a crucial topic for many athletes. Anthony possesses exceptional talent, discipline, and a strong work ethic that make him deserving of pursuing his golf talent on a higher scale, even while he is still in high school.

In my sincere opinion, it would be unfortunate to let this moment pass or hinder Anthony's aspirations in any way. As parents, we understand the difficulty in asking for financial assistance, but the idea of not providing Anthony with the best possible opportunity for professional golf success is inconceivable. We want to establish a solid foundation and build a supportive network to aid him in his journey towards a career in professional golf.

Both in the realm of junior golf and professional golf, finances play a significant role. As Anthony's parents, we aim to secure the financial support necessary to grant him access to prestigious tournaments, quality training, expert instruction, and all the essential resources that contribute to the development of a successful professional athlete. We sincerely pray that the Lord blesses each one of you for your consideration and support.

Be Blessed,

Gabriela
